Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This policy covers Custom Builder AI (custombuilderai.com). You can reach us about anything in this policy at contact@custombuilderai.com.

2. What we collect

When you send the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your business name if you give it, the topic you choose, your message, and how you found us if you say. When you email us, we receive what you send.

When you unlock something free, such as the AI roadmap or the CAM walkthrough video, we receive your full name, your business email, your phone number and your business website if you give one.

When you buy the AI Avatar Content System, Stripe tells us your name, your email address and that the payment went through. We never receive your card number.

Like every website, the company that hosts this site, Vercel, processes technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

3. How we use it

We use what you send to reply to you, to deliver what you asked for or bought, and to keep a record of the conversation in our customer records. When you unlock something free, you agree that we may email, call or text you about AI help for your business; you can stop at any time by replying STOP to a text or by emailing us. We do not add you to a mailing list from the contact form, and we do not sell or share your personal information.

4. Companies that help run this site

• Vercel hosts the site.
• Resend delivers contact form messages and sign-up notices to our inbox, and sends buyers their welcome email.
• Railway hosts our customer records, where each message, sign-up and purchase from this site is saved.
• Migadu forwards email sent to contact@custombuilderai.com.
• TidyCal provides the booking calendar on the Book a Session page, and Stripe processes the payment for a paid session. The calendar loads from TidyCal when you open that page, and what you enter there is handled by TidyCal and Stripe under their own privacy policies.
• Stripe processes payments for the on-demand trainings. After checkout, the trainings are delivered from our training site, and the purchase is recorded under that site's privacy policy.
• CAM is a product of Simple Tech Skills. Its call calendar and its pages are run by that company under its own policies.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site runs no analytics, advertising or session-recording tools. It sets only two cookies, each needed for something you asked for: cbai_unlock keeps the free roadmap or walkthrough you unlocked open on your browser, and cbai_diy keeps the training you bought open on your browser. Each lasts up to 400 days, holds no personal information, and is never used to track you. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser's storage under the name cbai_theme. It never leaves your device. Pages from TidyCal or Stripe that you open may use their own cookies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep messages, sign-ups and purchase records for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep a record of our business with you, and we delete them when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep them (purchase records are kept for tax purposes).

7. Your privacy rights and choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@custombuilderai.com. We will not treat you differently for making a request. If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us, California residents have the rights it provides. We do not sell or share personal information, and because this site runs no tracking, a Global Privacy Control signal has nothing to switch off here.

8. Children

This site is meant for adults running a business or a career. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Security

Every page is served over HTTPS. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we will tell you as the law requires.

10. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
